With Flash Player 10.1 coming to Android mobile devices soon, the sneak peaks are getting more and more exciting. Here are some highlights from this week.
Ryan Stewart did a new round of Flash on the Nexus One demos, and yes, the performance is impressive.
Lee Brimelow addresses the false rumor that regular Flash sites don’t work with touch screens in this montage.
And last but not least, Michael Chaize uses the Flash Player on Android with new accelerometer Flash API to control an air plane through LiveCycle Data Services (!).
In case you can’t wait to finally get your hands on it, Kevin Lynch’s, Adobe’s CTO, provided a hint in one of his recent blog posts:
“We look forward to delivering Flash Player 10.1 for Android smartphones as a public preview at Google I/O in May, and then a general release in June. From that point on, an ever increasing number and variety of powerful, Flash-enabled devices will be arriving which we hope will provide a great landscape of choice.”
