Interesting Adobe video solutions news for everyone who is following NAB. Besides amazing new video tooling improvements with Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium, Adobe is demonstrating some interesting online video/mobile innovations.
- Project Primetime, including a sneak peek of Primetime Highlights
- Adobe Access protected streaming to mobile devices (now with native iOS support in addition to AIR for Android/TV).
- Demonstration of MPEG-Dash streaming to Flash Player (very interesting if you followed the HDS/HLS blog post).
In case you have the chance to attend NAB in person, don’t miss Dave Devisser’s theater presentation “From Production to Primetime: Dynamic Ad Insertion for Digital Video Across Devices”.
Overall the Adobe booth is very crowded this year, with everyone excited to learn more about the future of post production. And if you are curious if you might see anything AIR related, you won’t be disappointed. The streaming applications are cross-platform authored, with high quality video delivered to both iOS and Android.
