Very impressive “live social media visualizer and intranet content viewer” by Fortified Studio.
The finished product is displayed on custom-fabricated 32″ multitouch kiosks placed throughout the campus. Several technical innovations were pioneered during the project, including leveraging Adobe Air 3.2’s & Away3D 4’s GPU-accelerated Stage3D graphics mapped with dynamic data, and a custom backend that intelligently scrapes social media services for selected keywords without overstepping the boundaries of query limits [via Vimeo].
A great use case for Stage3D accelerated touch enabled UIs.
