Online video communication over the Internet is not just popular, but available to everyone everywhere, starting from numerous software applications on the desktop, to the built-in video chat capabilities of mobile devices. It’s even so popular that non-technology savvy users would like to take advantage of it, as example grandparents, who would like to visually talk to their grandkids.
Unfortunately most solutions are actually not that easy to use, specifically for this target audience. This is were the the idea for the Overdigital.com Instant VideoChat comes in. Simply send a link to the other party – no login, no registration, no confusing menus – and instant gratification.
The application uses Adobe’s Cirrus service, which allows to easily take advantage of the P2P functionality of Flash Player 11.

Hello, looking good. Is it possible/practical to use P2P for many to many video chat or just one to one?
@popovdejan It’s practical. You can use RTMPF P2P groups, that allow you to distribute the traffic. This version doesn’t support it though, it’s a direct P2P connection between the clients. (=no traffic costs, but sometimes firewall issues)
