At least it looks like it is, since there are only videos so far – on an Apple iPad 2…

… as well as on an Acer Iconia Tab A100 Android tablet.

Lopens has more background information on their site.

Super Chef is a 2D action game with an unique design. You must take control of the talented chef, whose cutting skills are required to save the World. Fight your way through a hordes of blood starving vegetables of the Mutant City and become a Super Chef!

The game is written in ActionScript 3 with GPU support (via Stage3D). Multiplatform support: Android / iOS (Adobe Air), Browser (Flash), SmartTV is also possible.

Everyone seems to be working hard in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Inspiring, and a great showcase of Adobe AIR.

  1. SuperChef, a mad chef killing people!  Another creation from corrupted minds. Congratulations, you’re contributing to make a society of zombies! Don’t be surprised if you come across to a real one, one day.

The “vegetables” in the first video look and behave very much like humans and they even bleed! The kid also wins “headshot” points for smashing their heads!
So, you can name them whatever you want, but in the end you mess with the kids’ heads.
Their growing brains absorb and learn from the (violent) actions and relationships and you do your best to relate those violent actions and “vegetables” to humans. No wonder why kids become assasins nowdays.
