The Apple branded Retina resolution screens (aka higher DPI screens) easily lead to the desire for higher resolution images during your browsing experience – interestingly a desire you thought you would never have (or would care about).
For some instant relief, this will blog now serve Retina optimized images to the iPad 3 Retina and the Macbook Pro Retina – unfortunately not all images were archived in high resolution, but the majority of imagery should at least have improved fidelity.
Technical details will follow in a later post (hint – I did not manually up-convert 8 years of imagery). Enjoy!
