Exciting news for HTML developers, the modern web just became a lot more approachable with a new line-up of Adobe HTML tools. Click here to watch the entire keynote.

The new tools and services include Edge Animate, Edge Reflow, Edge Code, Edge Inspect, Edge Fonts, Typekit and Phonegap Build. But what would be great tools without the ability to honor high quality work. TheFWA is now celebrating high quality HTML sites with the Cutting Edge Project of the Week.

Once a week Adobe presents The Cutting Edge award to the project that best highlights the newest capabilities of the modern web.

By leveraging the latest features and technologies in modern browsers, these sites are pushing the web forward and setting new standards and expectations around what is possible on the web.

Today, we’re unveiling a new addition to the Digital Media blog, focused on the Web platform. The new blog, called Adobe & The Web, will touch on thought leadership, industry trends and product related announcements from Adobe and partners in the standards and open source Web space. We’ll also touch on commercial tools and service offerings. See our inaugural post below and look for much more to come. [via Adobe Digital Media Blog]
