I have been using LiveFyre comments for a couple of years now, and even though this blog doesn’t receive enough comment volume to evaluate them under load, it has been my preference since I always liked the social media integration features.

On the other side, a feature that seems to be better implemented in Disqus is the ability to rate comments. In addition, the new design seems to be pretty appealing – I personally liked Livefyre’s previous look better than the latest.

But it really comes down to engagement, which can be best evaluated by switching to Disqus for a couple of days and evaluate if it has any impact on user behavior.
